Cappry Rovers emerged victors in an excellent game at Trialough on Wednesday evening. The Ballybofey side started the stronger and were one up after 15 minutes courtesy of a neat finish from striker Sean McBride. Mulroy Academy settled into the game towards the end of the first half and were unlucky not to be level at half-time when John Heraghty's strike struck the post. Mulroy continued to dominate the second half but a resolute Cappry defence held firm surviving a late scare in the last minute when a James Gallagher header was cleared off the line. Sean McBride was best for Cappry Rovers while James Gallagher, Sean Little and James Kerr were in superb form for Mulroy Academy.
