Kyle started out with his hometown club Swilly Rovers in the Letterkenny & District Division and had a brief spell with Kilmacrennan Celtic before returning to Swilly Park again. Was capped at U-15 for the Republic of Ireland and was a regular at centre back for his country right through to U-21 level captaining the side on numerous occasions. Signed for Norwich City aged 16 and made steady progress through the ranks making his first team debut in the Carling Cup against Crawley Town in August 2014. Was released by Norwich in the summer of 2016 following relegation from the Barclays Premier Division resulting in a move to the United States with Orlando City in the MLS. Joined Sligo Rovers at the start of the 2017 season and has since established himself as a regular in the heart of the defence at the Showgrounds.
