Letterkenny United 1; Bonagee Arcade 3 2015-10-04 00:00:00

Our game this week was away to Letterkenny United at their pitch in Leckview. With the sun shining on a beautiful Sunday morning everyone was in great spirits for the game. With a few of our players being away to the National Cup we had three young lads from our U-12 team to make up our numbers.

The game wasn't long started when our leading goal scorer Kaymin Shortt added to his tally, with a fine through ball from Patrick Rampalski he was through on goal and fired in the opener in the first 5 minutes and was followed shortly after by Patrick Rampalski stepping up to get our second. Letterkenny was then able to get a grip on the game and had a great shot stopped on the line by our captain and keeper Ewan Kavanagh, but were able to get their opener with a fantastic free kick from just outside the 18 yard box.

Once again Bonagee started the stronger in the second half and once again it was Kaymin who got Bonagee's third goal. Letterkenny dug in deep and fought back hard and were unlucky on a few occasions not to get another but both teams were fairly evenly matched for the rest of the game and there was no more goals, Final score 3-1 to Bonagee. A big thank you and well done to the U-12 lads for helping us make up the numbers today.
